Our Leadership Team is a highly trained and dedicated group of exceptional adults. Group counselors and specialists are carefully selected through an innovative interview process developed by an internationally renowned personnel consulting firm.
On-going staff training program employs the services of top psychologists and child development experts for both our Leadership Team and general counselor staff. Training takes place all year round: during the winter months, an orientation in June, and throughout the summer season.
Our unique evaluation process requires our Leadership Team to work closely with their counselor staff, for they are responsible for performance-based bonuses. These bonuses are given to counselors in lieu of tipping, which is strictly prohibited at North Shore Day Camp. Our staff salaries, amongst the highest in the industry, ensure a wide pool of quality applicants and enable the camp to keep quality staff returning year after year.
