Meeting Our New Camp Families

This past Sunday was a spectacular day!  The sun was shining, the breeze was just enough to sway the leaves on the trees back and forth, flowers were blooming and our campus was spilling over with smiling children everywhere.  It’s days like this that make all of us wish the year could go by just a little bit faster to get us closer to the summer!

We had several new camp families attend our joint Open House with our Day School, where they got to see first-hand the many wonderful activities that our future campers will be involved with.

Everything from our miniature golf course, the playgrounds, the swimming pools, the athletic fields, our ga-ga courts, and the incredible main mansion that remains a central focal point right here at camp.  Our future campers also had the opportunity to sit at our arts & crafts table to make some one-of-a-kind creations to bring home with them as mementos of their fun-filled day.

We also had many of our summer staff that were also on-hand as well to answer questions that families often have.  The most popular question asked is: What does my child need to bring to camp each day?  Our answer: Just pack a bathing suit in your camp bag along with some sunscreen. EVERYTHING else we provide!

What a great time everyone had at our Open House!  Only 61 more days until the 1st day of camp, Summer 2013 – Let the countdown begin!
