I have been part of the North Shore Day Camp family for 20 years and have loved every minute of it! I started my North Shore Day Camp journey as a camper and eventually became a CIT, a General Counselor, and a Group Leader. Throughout my childhood, my family always valued the experience of camp and NSDC was always able to provide a fulfilling and magical camp experience! They do not provide a “one size fits all” camp experience, they truly get to know your child, their interests, and goals for the summer.Most recently, I have worked as a Division Leader. NSDC has a passion for camp and their mission is to share it with all of their campers! NSDC always prioritizes fun, safety, and camp spirit. This is the foundation of their program from the training of their staff, their activities, to their value system. Rather than solely being a place where children are able to play sports and swim, this camp truly strengthen lifelong skills children need such as integrity, teamwork, and tolerance. I am so lucky I had NSDC in my life throughout my childhood and have the current opportunity to continue to share the magic of NSDC with children and their families!

As a returning staff member of many years I can say that NSDC is the place to be! The campus is beautiful and has many different activities that adhere to children no matter what they are interested in. There is also an incredible learn to swim program that I have seen many children go through, and year after year they continue to grow their confidence and swimming abilities.Not only have I made numerous connections with campers over the years, I have also made lifelong friendships with other staff members as well. All of the staff at NSDC are warm and welcoming. I wouldn’t trade the experiences I have had for anything! Giving a kid the best summer ever is the best feeling in the world, and I am excited to have that opportunity again this summer!

As a former camper here my memories at North Shore Day Camp include kind and caring staff and looking forward to every day where something exciting or extraordinary was sure to happen.Having the opportunity to work as a counselor at North Shore, I was introduced to a workplace where people you didn’t know would greet you and make you feel like you belonged. The directors and leadership look to get to know their counselors and ensure we’re taken care of, just as we care for our campers. I have made lifelong friends working at North Shore Day Camp and would recommend joining the camp staff to anyone considering it.

As a staff member who worked there for many years, can’t think of a better place to spend my summer. The people around you provide an awesome experience, with such a rewarding job getting to make some of your best friends for life with other staff members, while helping kids have the best summer of their life! Highly recommend.

North Shore Day Camp has been home away from home My children have been going since they were three years and are about to be 10 . they look forward to every summer to go back They have made the best friends and staff who have become family They truly take care of your children and get to experience so many new things. They have it all !!! We love north shore day camp !!!!

Highly recommend this camp! My son became a confident swimmer thanks to nsdc. Nsdc has a great swim program where we actually get progress reports. The facilities are all very updated and well maintained. I worked here 15 years ago and it’s VERY updated since that time (can’t say that for all camps!) thank you for a great summer!

We absolutely love NSDC. The counselors are all amazing and the facilities are clean and top notch. My son has had the best experience there and has made some incredible friends. He looks forward to camp every summer!

Our family LOVES NSDC!! Each summer gets better and better. Both my kids learned to swim at camp. They love all the specialty programming, you can tell so much thought and planning goes into every minute at camp. The staff is warm and genuine-my kids beg to have their counselors babysit year round. The division leaders communicate regularly with parents. Most importantly my kids are safe, happy and thriving because of their experience at NSDC. Best camp!!!

North Shore Day Camp is truly amazing! My kids have been going since 2 years old. The staff are caring and take such great care of the kids, making sure they have a fun, safe, and enriching summer. The variety of activities keeps them engaged, and thanks to the incredible swim program, both of my children have learned to swim here! They look forward to camp all year long, and we couldn’t be happier with our experience. I would highly recommend!
